Lemon Glazed Persimmon Bars - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. persimmon pulp, mixed with 1 tsp. baking soda
    1 egg
    1 c. sugar
    1/2 c. oil
    1 3/4 c. flour
    1 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    1 tsp. nutmeg
    1/4 tsp. cloves
    1 c. chopped nuts
    8 oz. chopped dates (optional)
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
    Mix pulp and soda.
    In a large bowl lightly beat egg.
    Stir in sugar, oil and pulp.
    Mix dry ingredients separately and then add to wet ingredients.
    Add nuts and dates.
    Spread in greased 10 x 15-inch pan.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 25 minutes.
    Cool 5 minutes and spread on glaze.
