Beef Noodle Soup(Yields 16 Cups) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. beef chuck, in 1-inch cubes
    1 Tbsp. oil
    2 qt. water
    1/2 c. chopped celery
    1/2 c. chopped onion
    1 (16 oz.) can diced tomatoes (undrained)
    8 oz. uncooked egg noodles
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    1 bay leaf
    1 (16 oz.) pkg. frozen mixed vegetables
    3 beef bouillon cubes
Preparation
    Brown beef in oil in large soup pot.
    Add water, celery, onion, tomatoes, pepper and bay leaf.
    Bring to a boil and then reduce heat to simmer.
    Cook, covered, until meat is tender, 1 to 1 1/2 hours.
    Stir in mixed vegetables, bouillon cubes and noodles.
    Bring to a boil and cook, uncovered, about 6 minutes or until noodles are tender.
