Ingredients

1 c. butter or margarine
1/4 c. sugar
2 tsp. vanilla
1/4 tsp. salt
2 1/4 c. flour
1 c. black walnuts or pecans
Preparation

Cream together butter, sugar and vanilla.
Add salt and flour; mix well and add nuts.
Bake in slow oven at 325\u00b0 for 25 minutes.
