Microwave Peanut Brittle - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. sugar
    1/2 c. white corn syrup
    1 c. roasted, salted peanuts
    1 tsp. butter
    1 tsp. vanilla flavoring
    1 tsp. baking soda
Preparation
    In a 1-quart casserole dish, stir together sugar and syrup. Microwave at High for 4 minutes.
    Stir in peanuts.
    Microwave at High 3 to 5 minutes (until light brown).
    Add butter and vanilla to syrup, blending well.
    Microwave on High for 2 minutes more. (Mixture will be very hot so be careful handling dish.)
