Apple Butter - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    10 apples, cooked and strained
    1 qt. apple cider
    1 1/2 Tbsp. cinnamon
    1 Tbsp. clove
    10 lb. sugar or to taste
Preparation
    Place cooked and strained apples in a roasting pan with the apple cider.
    Add cinnamon, cloves and sugar.
    Bake at 200\u00b0 to 250\u00b0 until butter is stiff.
    Have lids boiled in hot water.
    Ladle into sterile jars; put lids on and turn upside down for 5 minutes (or hot pack for 10 minutes).
