Angel Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 egg whites
    1/4 tsp. cream of tartar
    3/4 c. chopped nuts
    1 c. sugar
    1 tsp. vanilla
    14 crushed white soda crackers
Preparation
    Beat egg whites until foamy.
    Add cream of tartar and beat until stiff.
    Add sugar and beat again.
    Add vanilla and nuts. Fold in cracker crumbs.
    Spread into greased 9-inch pie pan.
    Bake 35 to 40 minutes at 375\u00b0.
    Cool. Pour filling in pie.
