Apple Dumplings - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (5 oz.) can refrigerated buttermilk biscuits
    2 1/2 medium size cooking apples, peeled, cored and quartered
    1/2 c. sugar
    3/4 c. water
    1/4 c. margarine
    1/2 tsp. vanilla
    1/4 tsp. cinnamon
Preparation
    Roll each biscuit into a 5 1/2-inch circle on lightly floured surface.
    Cut each circle in half.
    Place 1 apple quarter on each piece of dough.
    Moisten edges of dough with water.
    Bring ends to center, pinching to seal.
    Place dumplings in an 8-inch baking dish.
    Repeat process with remaining dough and apples.
