Mushroom Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 medium onions, chopped
    3 Tbsp. butter
    4 Tbsp. flour
    1 qt. chicken broth
    1 lb. fresh mushrooms
    1 pt. light cream
    salt and pepper to taste
Preparation
    Brown onions in butter until tender.
    Add flour until smooth. Slowly add chicken broth.
    I usually add about 1/4 of chicken broth at a time, letting it simmer between additions.
    Add mushrooms and cream; simmer for about 1/2 hour, or until mushrooms are tender.
    Do not let mixture boil.
