Vegetable Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 large onion
    1/2 green pepper
    1 can whole peeled tomatoes
    1/4 head cabbage
    3 sticks celery
    2 carrots
    2 pkg. dry onion soup mix or beefy onion soup mix
Preparation
    Cut vegetables into 4-quart pan.
    Measure 7 cups of water. Bring to a boil.
    Add dry soup mix. Stir; cover with heat lowered and simmer until vegetables are soft.
