Apple Dip - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 green apples, sliced in wedges
    1 (8 oz.) cream cheese, softened
    3/4 c. brown sugar, not packed
    1/2 tsp. vanilla
    1 jar Hershey's or Smucker's butterscotch caramel
    1/2 c. chopped pecans
Preparation
    Soak sliced apples in 2 cups water, 1 tablespoon vinegar and 1 tablespoon salt; cover.
    Mix cream cheese, sugar and vanilla until blended.
    Place on serving dish.
    Top with caramel and nuts.
    Pat apples dry and arrange around dip.
