Chicken Liver Pate - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. fresh or frozen chicken livers, thawed
    butter or margarine
    3 tsp. mayonnaise
    2 tsp. lemon juice
    2 tsp. butter, softened
    1/4 c. chopped green onions
    8 to 10 drops bottled hot pepper sauce
    1 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. dry mustard
    pepper to taste
Preparation
    Saute onions until tender.
    Put aside; cook livers covered in a small amount of butter, stirring occasionally, until no longer pink.
    Put livers and onions through a meat grinder; blend with remaining ingredients.
    Place mixture in a 2-cup mold.
    Chill several hours; carefully unmold.
    Serve with crackers.
