Marinated Slaw - cooking recipe
Ingredients

8 c. shredded cabbage
2 Tbsp. chopped pimientos
1/2 c. chopped green pepper
3/4 c. chopped onion
1 c. sugar
1 c. vinegar
1/2 c. water
1 Tbsp. mustard seed
Preparation

In large bowl, combine cabbage, pimientos, green pepper and onion.
Toss and set aside.
Combine remaining ingredients in medium saucepan.
Bring to boil.
Reduce heat, simmer uncovered 20 to 25 minutes.
Pour over cabbage mixture.
Cover and refrigerate 4 hours or overnight.
Makes 8 to 12 servings.
