Corn Chowder - cooking recipe
Ingredients

4 slices bacon
2 medium onions, sliced
3 c. water (including water from corn)
2 medium potatoes, diced
1 can or 2 1/2 c. canned or fresh corn
3 c. evaporated milk
1 1/4 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. pepper
Preparation

Cut bacon in small pieces; fry lightly in saucepan.
Remove from pan.
Saute onions in bacon fat.
Add water and potatoes. Cook until potatoes are done.
Add canned milk, corn, bacon and seasonings.
Heat and serve.
If fresh corn is used, cook with potatoes.
