Garlic Cheese Grits - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 c. water
    2 tsp. salt
    1 1/2 c. quick grits
    1/2 c. butter (1 stick)
    3 eggs, well beaten
    1 lb. sharp Cheddar cheese, grated
    1 to 3 cloves garlic, minced
    cayenne pepper to taste
Preparation
    Bring water to a rapid boil with salt.
    Gradually stir in grits with a fork.
    Cook until all water is absorbed.
    Stir in butter, a little at a time.
    Carefully add eggs, cheese, garlic and cayenne pepper.
    Put into a greased 2 1/2-quart casserole.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 1 hour and 20 minutes.
