Turtle Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 German chocolate cake mix
    3/4 c. melted butter
    2/3 c. light cream
    1 1/4 c. chocolate chips
    1 c. nuts
    14 oz. caramels
    1/3 c. light cream
Preparation
    Mix together cake mix, melted butter and light cream.
    Bake 1/2 this batter for 10 to 12 minutes.
    Sprinkle chocolate chips and nuts.
    Pour over caramels and 1/3 cup light cream.
    Melt caramels with cream, stir thoroughly.
    Add 2 tablespoons light cream to remaining batter.
    Carefully spread rest of batter over caramel mixture.
    Bake 15 to 18 minutes.
    Do not overbake.
    It should be moist.
    Let cool completely before cutting.
