Garlic Bread - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 large loaf French bread
1 to 2 cloves garlic*
1/4 to 1/2 c. butter or margarine
Preparation

Soften butter.
Crush garlic; work garlic into softened butter.
Cut loaf of bread into 1 1/2-inch slices cutting through to within 1/2-inch from bottom.
Spread garlic butter on either side of each slice; press back into shape and spread top and sides with garlic butter.
Wrap in foil and bake at 400\u00b0 for 10 minutes. Open foil and bake 5 minutes more.
