Blueberry Bread Pudding - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. day old wheat bread cubes (3 to 4 slices)
    1 c. frozen blueberries, thawed and drained
    6 eggs
    1 Tbsp. grated lemon peel
    1/2 tsp. almond extract
    1 1/2 c. low fat milk
    1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    In greased 1 1/2-quart casserole, toss bread cubes and berries.
    In medium bowl, beat together remaining ingredients until sugar is dissolved.
    Pour over bread cubes.
    Bake in preheated 350\u00b0 oven until knife inserted near center comes out clean, about 55 minutes.
    Serve hot or chilled.
    Makes 6 servings.
