Date-Nut Cake(Not A Fruit Cake!) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. dates
    1/4 lb. cherries, candied
    1/4 lb. candied pineapple (2 slices)
    1 lb. pecans
    1 c. flour
    1 c. sugar
    2 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. salt
    4 eggs
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Cut up dates, cherries, candied pineapple and pecans; set aside.
    Sift flour, sugar, baking powder and salt together.
    Beat eggs and add dry ingredients and mix until well blended.
    Add vanilla.
    Next add the fruit and nuts and mix well.
    Put into greased and floured tube pan.
    Bake at 275\u00b0 for about 1 hour and 30 minutes.
