Peanut Butter Blossoms - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. shortening
    1 c. sugar
    1 c. dark brown sugar
    1 c. peanut butter (either crunchy or smooth)
    2 eggs
    3 1/2 c. flour
    1 tsp. baking soda
    4 Tbsp. milk
    2 tsp. vanilla
    Hershey candy Kisses or hugs (either plain or with almonds)
Preparation
    Cream shortening, sugar, brown sugar and peanut butter.
    Add eggs.
    Sift together flour and baking soda and add to mixture. Stir in milk and vanilla.
    Refrigerate at least 1 hour but not longer than overnight.
    Shape into teaspoon-sized balls and roll in sugar.
    Place on greased cookie sheet.
    Gently flatten with bottom of glass dipped in sugar.
    Bake at 375\u00b0 for 10 to 12 minutes.
    Remove from cookie sheet and cool on wax paper covered rack.
    As soon as cookies are placed on wax paper, press 1 unwrapped candy into center of each cookie.
    Store in airtight container and keep cool to prevent candy from melting.
