Smoked Sparerib Tips And Cabbage - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. smoked sparerib tips
    salt
    1 whole onion
    1 clove garlic
    crushed red pepper
    3 to 4 lb. head cabbage
    4 large white potatoes, halved
    pepper
Preparation
    Cover spareribs well with water.
    Add salt, onion, garlic and 1/2 teaspoon crushed red pepper.
    Simmer until meat is half done, about 1 hour.
    Wash, core and quarter cabbage.
    Drop into pot. Add peeled, halved white potatoes and more seasoning; cook until done, about 45 minutes to 1 hour.
    Serves 4.
