Funnel Cakes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 eggs
    1 1/2 c. milk
    2 1/4 c. flour
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. salt
    oil for deep frying
    your favorite flavored syrup
Preparation
    Beat eggs in mixing bowl, then mix in milk.
    In separate bowl, sift together 2 cups flour, baking powder and salt.
    Add dry ingredients to liquid and mix thoroughly.
    Put 2 inches oil in heavy skillet.
    Heat oil until very hot but not smoking.
    Dribble batter into hot oil, moving in circle to build snail-like coil. Fry about 2 minutes on each side, turning once with big spatula. Keep warm in very low oven.
    Makes 6 to 8 cakes.
