Chocolate Applesauce Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1/2 c. shortening
1 c. sugar
1 egg
1 c. sour applesauce
1 1/2 c. sifted flour
1/3 c. cocoa
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. allspice
1/2 tsp. nutmeg
1 tsp. soda
1 Tbsp. water

Preparation

Cream shortening and sugar.
Add egg and applesauce.
Dissolve soda in water and add.
Stir in dry ingredients and mix well. Pour into 9 x 13-inch pan and bake in a 350\u00b0 oven.
