Ingredients

1 c. shortening or margarine
1 c. granulated sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
2 c. chopped walnuts
1 c. brown sugar
2 eggs, beaten
2 c. sifted flour
1 tsp. baking soda
2 c. quick cooking oats
2 c. shredded coconut
Preparation

Combine shortening, brown sugar, granulated sugar, eggs, vanilla, flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt; mix well. Mix in remaining items.
Drop on greased cookie sheet and bake at 350\u00b0 until nicely browned and done.
