Barbecued Spareribs - cooking recipe
Ingredients

4 lb. spareribs
2 Tbsp. butter or margarine
1/2 c. finely chopped onion
1 c. water
1 c. ketchup
2 Tbsp. vinegar
2 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
2 Tbsp. brown sugar
1 tsp. dry mustard
1 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
Preparation

Cut spareribs in serving size pieces.
Brown slowly in two 10-inch skillets (better if browned in iron skillet); put in baking pan.
Pour fat from skillet and melt butter in skillet; add onion.
Cook until brown.
Add next 8 ingredients; simmer 20 minutes.
Set oven for 350\u00b0.
Pour sauce over ribs and bake, covered, for 1 1/2 hours.
