Walnut Rhubarb Bread - cooking recipe

1 1/2 c. brown sugar, packed
2/3 c. cooking oil
1 egg, beaten
1 c. sour milk*
1 tsp. vanilla
2 1/2 c. flour
1 tsp. baking soda
pinch of salt
1 1/2 c. thin sliced rhubarb with skin
1/2 c. walnuts
1 tsp. cinnamon
Preparation

Before cooking bread, combine 1 tablespoon melted butter with 1/3 cup white sugar; spread on bread dough (with fingers) before cooking and it will make a crunchy top.
