Sponge Cake(Never Fail) - cooking recipe
Ingredients

5 eggs, separated
1 1/2 c. sugar (raw or white)
1 1/2 c. whole wheat flour or white
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking powder
3/4 tsp. cream of tartar
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 c. water
Preparation

Beat 5 egg yolks and water until thick and lemon colored. Fold in sugar, salt, vanilla, flour, baking powder and last, stiffly beaten egg whites with cream of tartar.
Bake 1 hour or until done.
A very nice cake.
