Chicken Chow Mein - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 Tbsp. oil
1 c. sliced onions
1 1/2 c. sliced celery
1 c. sliced mushrooms
2 c. chicken stock
3 Tbsp. soy sauce
3 c. cooked chicken, cut in strips
1 1/2 Tbsp. cornstarch
1/2 c. sliced scallions
chow mein noodles
boiled white rice
Preparation

Heat oil in a saucepan.
Cook onions, celery and mushrooms in it for 3 minutes.
Add 1 cup of chicken stock, soy sauce and chicken; cook 5 minutes.
Mix cornstarch with remaining chicken stock and stir into chicken mixture until thickened.
Add the scallions.
Serve over chow mein noodles which have been crisped in oven and white rice on side.
