Ingredients

3 cans beets, sliced or whole
1 c. sugar
1 c. vinegar
2 Tbsp. cornstarch
24 whole cloves
3 Tbsp. catsup
3 Tbsp. oil
1 tsp. vanilla
dash of salt
1 1/2 c. beet juice
Preparation

Combine all ingredients in saucepan.
Heat until mixture thickens.
Serve warm.
Refrigerate any leftovers.
