Eggnog Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. flour
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    3 1/2 tsp. baking powder
    1 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. nutmeg
    1/4 tsp. ginger
    1/2 c. shortening
    1 c. milk
    1 tsp. rum extract
    3 eggs
Preparation
    Combine all ingredients in large mixer bowl.
    Blend at low speed for 30 seconds, scraping sides and bottom of bowl.
    Pour into 2 greased and floured round 8-inch layer pans.
    Bake 35 to 40 minutes at 350\u00b0.
    Cool.
