Ingredients

2 c. all-purpose flour
2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
2 eggs, separated
1 3/4 c. sweet milk
1/3 c. vegetable oil
3 Tbsp. sugar
Preparation

Sift flour; resift with baking powder and salt.
Separate egg yolks; add milk and oil to yolks and stir in flour mixture, beating until smooth.
Beat egg whites until stiff; add sugar slowly and beat until smooth.
Fold in lightly, but thoroughly into batter.
Bake in hot waffle iron.
Melt butter or margarine to pour over cooked waffle.
Use syrup at room temperature.
