Congo Bars - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. box brown sugar
    2/3 c. melted butter (10 tsp.)
    3 eggs
    1 tsp. vanilla
    2 3/4 c. self-rising flour
    1 c. chopped nuts (optional)
    1 (6 oz.) pkg. chocolate chips
Preparation
    Cream sugar, butter, eggs and vanilla until smooth. Mix in flour; add nuts and chocolate chips. Put in 9 x 13 baking pan or dish. Bake at 350\u00b0 for 20 to 25 minutes.
