Ingredients

1 c. butter
1 c. brown sugar
1/2 c. molasses
1 egg, beaten
2 tsp. vanilla
3 1/2 c. flour
2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1 c. chopped pecans
granulated sugar
Preparation

Cream butter and sugar until fluffy.
Mix in molasses, egg and vanilla.
Mix together flour, soda and salt.
Add to butter mixture.
Mix well.
Stir in pecans.
Refrigerate dough for 3 hours.
