Icebox Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. butter
    2 c. light brown sugar
    2 eggs
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 tsp. soda
    1/2 tsp. salt
    3 1/2 c. flour
    1 c. nuts, chopped
Preparation
    Thoroughly cream butter and sugar.
    Add eggs and vanilla and beat.
    Sift dry ingredients 3 times.
    Add to creamed mixture. Stir in nuts.
    Shape dough into rolls.
    Wrap in wax paper and chill overnight.
    Slice thinly and bake on ungreased cookie sheet at 375\u00b0 for 8 to 10 minutes.
    Makes 4 dozen.
