Tasso And Oysters In Cream On Pasta - cooking recipe
Ingredients

6 qt. hot water
1/4 c. vegetable oil
3 Tbsp. salt
1 1/2 lb. fresh spaghetti (use 1 lb. if dry spaghetti)
3/4 lb. butter, unsalted
2 1/2 c. tasso (smoked ham)
1 1/2 c. green onions, chopped
3 c. heavy cream
1 lb. oysters (small with oyster liquid)
1/4 c. parsley, fine chopped
Preparation

Combine the hot water,\toil and salt in a large pot and bring to a
boil.
Cook spaghetti, uncovered, (about 4 minutes for fresh spaghetti
and
7 minutes if dry).\tDo not overcook. When done, immediately
wash
spaghetti
with\tcold
water and drain in a colander.
After
cooled, pour a liberal amount of oil
on\tyour hands
and\ttoss
spaghetti.
Set
aside.
Heat serving plates in a 250\u00b0 oven.
