Southern Pecan Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 eggs
    1 c. pecan halves
    1/2 c. sugar
    1 Tbsp. butter
    3/4 c. light corn syrup
    1 unbaked pie shell
Preparation
    Mix eggs and sugar well.
    Add corn syrup and beat.
    Add pecans and pour into unbaked pie shell.
    Dot with butter and bake in hot oven at 450\u00b0 for 10 minutes.
    Reduce heat to 350\u00b0 and bake for 30 to 35 minutes.
    This makes 1 crust right in pie.
    The pecans will rise to the top and form topping.
