Cream Of Broccoli Soup - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/2 c. butter
1 onion, chopped
1/2 c. flour
1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. pepper
2 1/2 c. chicken broth
2 (10 oz.) package frozen, chopped broccoli, thawed and drained
2 c. milk
Preparation

In a large saucepan, melt butter and saute onion about 10 minutes or until golden.
Blend in flour, salt and pepper. Gradually add the chicken broth, milk, and then the broccoli. Bring mixture to a boil, stirring frequently.
Cover and simmer until broccoli is tender, about 15-20 minutes.
