Lemon Squares - cooking recipe

1 c. flour
1/2 c. butter, softened
1/4 c. powdered sugar
1 c. granulated sugar
2 tsp. grated lemon peel
2 Tbsp. lemon juice
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. salt
2 eggs
Preparation

Mix flour, butter and powdered sugar.
Press evenly onto bottom and 1/2-inch up sides of ungreased 8 x 8-inch pan.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 20 minutes.
Beat remaining ingredients on medium speed until light and fluffy.
Pour over hot crust.
Bake until no indentation when touched, about 25 minutes.
Let cool, then cut into 1 1/2-inch squares.
Makes 25.
