Baked Crispy-Topped Apples - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 large baking apples
    1/4 c. maple syrup (regular or sugar free)
    1/4 tsp. cinnamon
    2 Tbsp. margarine, melted
    1 1/2 c. whole wheat and bran cereal with dates, raisins and walnuts
Preparation
    Cut apples in half crosswise and core.
    Put apples cut side up in a 12 x 8 x 2-inch baking dish.
    Blend syrup, margarine and cinnamon.
    Add cereal; toss to coat.
    Spoon over apples.
    Bake uncovered at 350\u00b0 until apples are fork-tender, about 35 minutes. Makes 6 servings.
