Corn Muffins - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. all purpose flour
    1/2 c. corn meal
    2 Tbsp. sugar
    3 tsp. baking powder
    1/4 tsp. salt
    4 slices bacon, cooked crisp and crumbled
    7 oz. can whole kernel corn, well drained
    1 c. milk
    1/4 c. oil
    1 egg, beaten
Preparation
    Heat oven to 400\u00b0.
    Grease bottom only of 12 muffin cups.
    In large bowl, combine flour, cornmeal, sugar, baking powder and salt; mix well.
    Stir in bacon and corn.
    Add liquid ingredients; stir until dry ingredients are moistened.
    Fill muffin cups 3/4 full.
    Bake for 18 to 25 minutes or until golden brown.
    Cool 1 minute; remove from pan.
    Serve warm.
    Refrigerate leftovers. Makes 12 muffins.
