Three Alarm Chili - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. lean ground beef
    2 large onions, chopped
    1 tsp. chopped garlic or 2 to 3 cloves
    1 pkg. Carroll Shelby's chili mix or store brand equivalent plus 1/2 tsp. cayenne pepper
    2 (14 oz.) cans Mexican or salsa style stewed tomatoes
    1 (15 1/2 oz.) can red kidney beans
    1 (15 1/2 oz.) can white kidney beans
    1 (15 1/2 oz.) can Great Northern beans
    1 (3 1/2 oz.) can whole jalapeno peppers
Preparation
    In a large skillet, brown ground beef and drain.
    Add onion, garlic and chili mix.
    Simmer for 15 minutes.
    Drain beans and discard liquid.
    Drain jalapenos; reserve liquid.
    Remove stems and slice.
    In crock-pot, combine beans, tomatoes, peppers and liquid.
    Add ground beef mixture.
    Add up to 2 cups of water. Cook on high until bubbling.
    Reduce heat.
    Simmer 4 to 5 hours or cook on low overnight.
