Flaky Apple Turnovers - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    10 Hungry Jack biscuits
    2/3 c. sugar
    3/4 tsp. cinnamon
    1/4 c. margarine, melted
    1/4 tsp. nutmeg
    1 1/4 c. fine chopped apples
Preparation
    Heat oven to 375\u00b0.
    Separate biscuits and press and roll each one into 4-inch circles.
    Mix all seasonings and sugar together. Spoon 2 tablespoons of apples into the center of each biscuit. Spoon 1 teaspoon of sugar mixture over apples.
    Fold dough in half.
    Press edges together with fork to seal.
    Dip both sides in margarine then into remaining sugar mixture.
    Place in an ungreased 9 x 13-inch pan and bake 15 to 20 minutes or until golden brown. Remove and cool.
    Makes 10.
