Marni'S Chicken And Vegetable Couscous - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 medium onions, thinly sliced
    2 large garlic cloves, minced
    2 Tbsp. olive oil
    1 whole chicken, skinned and cut up into small pieces
    1 (16 oz.) can tomatoes and juice, cut up
    1 zucchini, cut into 1/3-inch thick rounds
    3 carrots, cut into 1-inch pieces
    10 Brussels sprouts, whole or cut in half
    3 green onions
    1/2 to 1 c. chicken broth
    1/2 c. raisins
    1/4 c. vermouth
    2 Tbsp. curry powder
    3/4 tsp. cinnamon
    2 tsp. honey
    dash of cayenne pepper
    fresh green herbs, parsley, basil and salt and pepper to taste
    couscous
Preparation
    In a large saute pan, saute the onions and garlic in olive oil until brown.
    Remove onion mixture temporarily, then saute the chicken until brown.
    Return onions to pan.
    Add tomatoes, curry powder, cayenne, cinnamon, honey, vermouth and broth.
