Cheesy Steak Strips - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. round steak
    2 Tbsp. butter
    1 c. onions, chopped
    2 c. celery, sliced
    2 c. carrots, sliced
    1 (11 oz.) can undiluted Cheddar cheese soup
    1 (3 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, softened
    2 c. beef broth
    1/4 to 1/2 tsp. garlic salt
Preparation
    Cut meat into thin strips.
    Brown meat in butter.
    Add onion, celery and carrots.
    Continue to cook until vegetables are tender-crisp.
    Mix soup, cream cheese, broth, garlic, salt and pepper.
    Pour over meat.
    Cover and simmer 45 to 60 minutes.
    Serve over rice.
    Serves 6.
