Ingredients

2 c. sweet butter
1/2 c. sugar
2 egg yolks
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. vanilla
2 lb. flour
confectioners sugar
Preparation

Cream butter and sugar together well.
Add egg yolks, vanilla and baking powder.
Slowly add flour 1/2 cup at a time.
Dough should be just right, barely sticking to your hands.
Take a small amount and roll into a ball.
Pat down and place on ungreased baking sheet.
Bake in 350\u00b0 oven for approximately 20 minutes. Bottom should be light brown.
After they have cooled a bit, dust with confectioners sugar.
Recipe makes approximately 50 cookies.
