Mexican Cornbread - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. corn meal
2 eggs
1 c. milk
1/2 c. oil or bacon drippings
1 c. cream-style corn
1 lb. hamburger
1 large onion, chopped
1/2 lb. Longhorn cheese, chopped
2 or 3 jalapeno peppers, chopped
Preparation

Mix first 5 ingredients and set aside.
Brown hamburger and drain.
Oil large skillet or pan.
Pour in 1/2 of corn meal mixture.
Sprinkle hamburger, onions, peppers and cheese on top and then pour remainder of corn meal on top.
Bake at 400\u00b0 for 40 to 45 minutes until brown and done in middle.
