Ingredients

1/2 c. butter
2 c. brown sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
2 c. plain flour
2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1 c. chopped nuts
Preparation

Cook butter and sugar over low heat until bubbly.
Cool.
Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition.
Add vanilla.
Sift dry ingredients.
Add to first mixture and mix thoroughly.
Add nuts.
Spread in greased and floured 10 1/2 x 15 1/2 x 1-inch pan.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 25 minutes.
Cut while warm.
