Old Fashioned Macaroni And Cheese - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 1/2 c. uncooked elbow macaroni
    1/4 c. butter
    1/4 c. flour
    1 tsp. salt
    5 c. shredded Cheddar cheese, divided
    3/4 tsp. dry mustard
    1/2 tsp. pepper
    few dashes hot pepper sauce
    3 1/2 c. milk
Preparation
    Cook macaroni in boiling salted water until almost tender. Meanwhile, in a small saucepan, melt butter.
    Stir in flour, salt, mustard, pepper and hot pepper sauce.
    Cook and stir until smooth. Drain macaroni.
    Combine with butter mixture in a large bowl and mix well.
    Stir in milk and 4 cups cheese.
    Pour into an ungreased 13 x 9 x 2-inch baking dish.
    Cover and bake at 350\u00b0 for 45 minutes or until bubbly.
    Sprinkle with remaining cheese.
    Let stand 5 minutes before serving (yields 12 to 16 servings).
