Layered Ground Beef Casserole(Serves 6 To 8) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. ground beef
    2 or 3 Irish potatoes, sliced
    2 or 3 sliced onions
    salt and pepper to taste
    butter to taste
    1 can tomato soup (I use catsup)
    1 c. water
Preparation
    Plate alternate layers of ground beef, potatoes and onions in a buttered dish.
    Salt and pepper each layer.
    Place pieces of butter on top.
    Dilute soup with 1 can of water.
    Pour over the mixture.
    Cover and cook done (1 hour) at 350\u00b0.
    Brown the beef before you alternate it in the casserole with the onions.
