Pound Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 sticks oleo
6 eggs
1 c. buttermilk
1 tsp. vanilla
3 c. sugar
3 c. flour
1/4 tsp. soda
Preparation

Cream butter.
Add sugar and cream until smooth.
Add egg yolks (set aside whites), beating until well blended.
Add soda and vanilla to buttermilk.
Alternately add flour and buttermilk mixture.
Beat until well mixed.
Beat egg whites until stiff and fold into cake mixture.
Bake at 350\u00b0 in tube pan, approximately 1 hour.
