Escalloped Cabbage - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 head shredded cabbage
    1 chopped onion
    1 1/2 c. medium white sauce
    1 c. buttered cracker crumbs
    1/2 c. grated cheese
Preparation
    Cook cabbage and onion in small amount of water for 5 minutes; drain.
    Mix with white sauce.
    Put into a 9 x 12-inch casserole in layers, alternating cabbage mixture, crumbs and cheese.
    Top with crumbs and bake, uncovered, at 375\u00b0 until hot.
